- 11:30 -> Registration, Lunch, Free Driving Range
- 12:30 -> Free Golf Clinic by PGA Professional Jeff Homady
- 1:00 -> Shotgun Start -> Texas Scramble Format
- 6:00 -> Appetizers & Mixer (showers available in the locker room)
- 6:45 -> Prizes Awarded
- 8:30 -> Bring the significant other (or better half) and dance the night away w/ a DJ, provided by the Ebensburg Country Club!
What is a Texas Scramble (or Shamble)?
We figured that by September, everyone would all scrambled out so we wanted to mix it up a bit. We decided on a Texas Scramble format. The Texas Scramble still includes teams of four golfers, with each golfer hitting a drive, and the best one selected for the second shot. But, everyone plays their own ball to the hole, each turning in a score for the team. The lowest score is then selected for the team. This format allows for both teamwork and allows everyone to play a bit more of the course.
